EGEE's Business Associates comprise eight companies: Avanade, Constellation Technologies, Excelian, GridwiseTech, Hitachi, Linalis, NICE and Platform Computing, which are working on technical developments, market surveys and on strategic approaches for the effective transfer of EGEE's technology.

To fulfill the computing power needs of complex projects, like finance simulations, we created a proprietary grid architecture based on .NET. We are working with EGEE to implement their standards in our solutions, targeting full interoperability with gLite to provide more flexibility and features to both systems.

Constellation Technologies, Ltd. is a UK-based company pioneering the global grid infrastructure software as a result from a collaboration effort at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, UK and CERN, CH supported by the STFC in the UK.

At the moment, gLite middleware has a high level of technology readiness that can be demonstrated by its worldwide production deployment within LCG and other scientific and academic projects. One of GridwiseTech's successes is integrating internal job management environment of Philips Research with external, on-demand resources managed by the EGEE Grid. The job execution layer comes together with a user-friendly, application-oriented portal, and is secured by grid's virtual organization.
