Federations
For the purpose of the EGEE project, the 70 partners have been divided into 12 different federations. The federations for the EGEE project are:
- CERN
- Central Europe including Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia
- France
- Germany and Switzerland
- Ireland and the United Kingdom
- Italy
- Northern Europe including Belgium, Denmark, Finland, The Netherlands, Norway and Sweden
- Russia
- South-East Europe including Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Israel and Romania
- South-West Europe including Portugal and Spain
- NRENS (National Research and Education Networks)
- United States
