EGEE Industry Forum By Laws & Funding

By-Laws

  • To promote grid technologies and intake through the EGEE project
  • To promote the use of open-source middleware
  • To help provide the EGEE project partners with industrial applications
  • To provide an active, two-way forum through public events, working groups, communication and lobbying
  • To set-up a public organisation to run the Forum
  • To endorse the annual budget presented by this organisation
  • To not use the EGEE infrastructure for commercial gain
  • To attend an annual meeting with the EGEE management
  • To ensure all members accept the by-laws
  • To designate a steering committee to oversee the running of the Industry Forum.

Funding

  • The EGEE Industry Forum will be a self-sustained flexible body
  • The financing will be used only for EGEE Industry Forum activities
  • Contributions will be on a voluntary basis (for example, sponsorship)
