EGEE Industry Forum By Laws & Funding
By-Laws
- To promote grid technologies and intake through the EGEE project
- To promote the use of open-source middleware
- To help provide the EGEE project partners with industrial applications
- To provide an active, two-way forum through public events, working groups, communication and lobbying
- To set-up a public organisation to run the Forum
- To endorse the annual budget presented by this organisation
- To not use the EGEE infrastructure for commercial gain
- To attend an annual meeting with the EGEE management
- To ensure all members accept the by-laws
- To designate a steering committee to oversee the running of the Industry Forum.
Funding
- The EGEE Industry Forum will be a self-sustained flexible body
- The financing will be used only for EGEE Industry Forum activities
- Contributions will be on a voluntary basis (for example, sponsorship)
